919 Beer: “Great Lakes Brewing Company”

 

Joe Ovies, Adam Eshbaugh, and Wayne Holt host this week, and visit with guest Amanda Hodge, Area Sales Manager for Great Lakes Brewing Company. Joe starts off inquiring about their Christmas Ale. Then, they talk about their Oktoberfest Lager. 

Amanda brought in for sample, the Holy Moses White Ale. Then, Amanda offers samples, and gives the history behind the Dortmunder Gold Lager, the Burning River Pale Ale, the Elliot Ness Amber Ale, the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, and the Great Lakes IPA. Finally, Amanda tells how she got in the business, and how the craft beer industry has evolved since then.
