Wayne Holt and Joe Ovies host this week. Adam Eshbaugh is on assignment. Wayne and Joe welcome Katy Creech of Glass Jug Beer Lab. She refers to their Opacity, a series of New England IPA’s; their Transparency series, another series of IPA’s; a Belgian Double, and their Triple Ginger Tripel, which is a Belgian Tripel with Ginger. Glass Jug will be celebrating Oktoberfest next Saturday, September 21st, which coincides with their fifth-year anniversary.
Then, Wayne and Joe welcome in Ben Woodward and Sean Lally from Haw River Farmhouse Ales in Saxapahaw. Ben is the owner, and Sean is the head brewer. They brought in The Seven Faces of Pepe Grano, a Farmhouse Seasonal Ale; The Sun Hands Belgian Summer Golden; Mille Fleur Variance; The Just Measure It With Your Hands IPA. And, they also refer to their Newlin’s Original Belgian Oatmeal Pale Ale, and their Java Lantern Cream Stout, and The Bourbon Barrel St. Benedict’s Breakfast.
