We arrive at a stretch of Season 1 where the chronological order and the release order finally line up with one of the strongest three-part arcs of early Clone Wars. The Malevolence arc starts of strong with some surprisingly dark scenes, and manages to keep a high level of quality throughout parts two and three, making us wish that this instead of the Rotta arc had been chosen for the premier movie event.
