As a coach who normally works with women this is a subject that I rarely touch on but today that is going to change
I talk to Cill O'Connor who is a Strength coach who works with clients both in person and online on improving strength and overall fitness
While Cill works with a whole range of populations today we decided to focus on fitness from a male perspective
We talk about how he got into strength and conditioning despite never being "sporty" growing up
How he originally worked with atheletes but actually found more job satisfaction from working with general population
We talk about the things that bother him in the industry and how self proclaimed "movement gurus" are holding people back enormously from getting stronger
We also talk about theme that has come up on numerous ocasions on this podcast and that is how consistency is what really works and once we accept that we will start to see the progress we always wanted
And that some of the issues and questions that we see are really not just only female specific as social media in particular is causing a rise in body dismorphia and eating disorders in men
This was another really interesing conversation and I highly suggest you go follow Cill for some really good info and even better memes
