947 Drive with Thando

Every day, we’ll pit two of you against each other in a category. It could be movies, it could be music, it could be food, it could be spelling bee, etc and we want to see which listener can’t be beaten for the whole week. Each day, there is R1000 up for grabs for the winner, so if you go all the way, you could be walking away with R5000.

Here is a request we’d like to look at today

I’m Lelethu Diwu. I lost my job two years ago. It’s been a struggle since I have to take care of my late sister's kids. I can hardly get by as am writing this, I don’t even have a maize meal to cook porridge for tomorrow. I’m just hoping for a miracle. I cry myself to sleep almost every day because my faith is running thin. I would really appreciate it if u guys could lend a hand with food and other essentials. Anything really, to just bring about a smile to me and my family.

Thank you

We know you Joburg Kids are smart so we want you to school us as adults. We’ve got a group of kids that have answered 3 questions each, per day. It’s your job as an adult, to figure out which kid got the answer correct. And whoever gets the most answers correct, wins a prize…and that prize is bragging rights.

You could be winning yourself R1000. Or R500 if you decide to split the prize. Go to our www.947.co.za to enter. We call you and then call a random person that you will convince to utter the word “Money”. If they say the words, you walk away with R1000. If you are feeling loving, you have an option to split the prize with the random person.
