Hundreds of thousands of residents across South East Queensland are without power as the after-effects of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred continue.
Energex Spokesperson Danny Donald told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, "We're aiming to get 95% of people back up and running by Friday."
"But there will be people on Saturday and Sunday, of course, and they are the places that have been belted and places that we haven't been able to gain access for various issues."
"But we are aiming to get 100% of people back up by Sunday night, and they're the people that can be restored," Mr Donald continued.
