This week Minister for Education and Public Service, Chris Hipkins, announced Early Childhood Centre teachers would receive a wage increase to match kindergarten teachers. Noah Ferguson-Dudding spoke to Hipkins about the announcement, as well as the goverment's recent move to freeze many public sector wages.

Recently the National Party has accused the government of pursuing a "separatist" agenda as they promote policies such as a separate Māori Health Authority. Other parties, including the Māori Party and the Greens, have criticised National's claims for racial rhetoric. Noah Ferguson-Dudding spoke to National MP Christopher Luxon about the controversy, as well as the Treaty of Waitangi more generally.

They also discussed New Zealand's upcoming trade delegations with Australia and the United Kingdom.
