The new protest song from Neil Young, "Big Crime", it's angry and right on and we can't wait till we get a proper mix of it so we can hear all the words - it was recorded at a soundcheck in Chicago but released by Neil Young. Interesting New Zealand music too in the show. Gil Landry is a current favourite.
Hunter speaks with Liz Stokes and Jonathan Pearce of The Beths in their home studio about their introspective new album Straight Line was a Lie, which dropped 29 Aug on Antirecords. Recorded and written in Los Angeles and at home in Aotearoa, the album blends the band's signature honest and upfront songwriting with an analysis on the cyclical nature of mental health. Thanks to NZ On Air Music.
