It is explained that during walking, the pelvis rotates towards the stance leg, which can only occur if there is a fixed point below. The fixed points are the inner heel and the base of the big toe. Many lower body mobility drills don't focus on this ability to contact these two points into the ground, which can limit the ability to produce force in the ground. The video provides drills to create awareness of these two points.
