99 to Infinity Podcast

The negative narrative that surrounds Toronto, Canada states that it is a city with no love. That everybody hates on everybody, & no one wants to see anyone but themselves win. On this brand spanking new EP we were fortunate enough to host a long time brother (JROC) on the pod to speak to the culture of our own city. Toronto is a city with so much potential, & so much talent..

The next generation of leaders is coming & our goal is to shift the culture & create a new Toronto.

Those squadron returns with another brand spanking new episode (filmed & recorded 02/25) We decided it was only right to set the theme of the episode with reminiscent vibes after opening the episode with a brief conversation on gratitude. After some outlandish comments we get right into talking about arguably one of the largest fashion trends in fashion history... THE NIKE ELITE SOCK ERA(2011-2015) shaped by comfort, style, Roshe Runs, & khaki coloured joggers... the "staple" drip for those amazing years. After realizing how long ago of a time that was the conversation shifted to speaking on how fundamentally different growing up & enjoying life as a kid in the late 90's to early 2000's was compared to growing up in today's society. In that conversation we touched on how technology has taken over what would've been the time to be "outside" we then continued that conversation while moving towards speaking on high school, & college/uni students & the struggles they might be facing due to how drastically different the world has become in the past 2 years. We ended off speaking on adversity in the many situations we listed throughout the episode but had to.. just had too tie it all together with our closing remarks focused on POSITIVITY

Positivity has been one of our motto's for the year of 2021 & in this brand spanking new pod that's how we got down. Hamilton & Drewski talked about the whole nine when it comes to our mindsets & though processes. We set the scene by discussing the idea of being good vs. the idea of being bad, carrying that idea towards some of the smallest things that could occur during your day. From there we ramped it up & got right into talking about our superstitions, & our perceptions The idea of seeing the same time over & over again or even not believing in superstitions because of the possible negative impact they could have if they don't come true. We finished off the episode just speaking on how our positive reality is everything, & how being grateful could turn your entire mood around.... enjoy:)

THE GANG IS BACK.... at our new recording spot. Not only has the production gotten bigger, but the team has gotten bigger. On this long ass episode the fellas welcome in our new compadre by putting him on the spot literally seconds into the ep. We opened up by comparing and contrasting our barber shop experiences (listen to ep.4 for context) then went straight into our very heated debate: what year was Drake's best year? For all of our music lovers out there in the world this debate should be very intriguing as we literally went through Drake's entire discography(catalogue) year by year to try and find the best answer. We soon realized that we wouldn't be doing justice to that conversation without picking our top 3 Drake projects, but this wasn't the end at all... After sorting through that conversation and realizing that the man has been in his prime for the past 10 years we thought it would be a great idea to pick our top 3 songs from EVERY. SINGLE. ALBUM.

The long anticipated Valentine's Day Special is finally here!!! We started the show off with a Hopeless Romantic Disclaimer, just so that we weren't responsible for ruining anyone's special day. There's been a lot happening behind the scenes as the team has grown one member, we're recording at a brand spanking new location and added more towards the production. To be as truthful as possible... we went CRAZY on this episode, the quick witted jokes, the toxicity, the out of pocket comments were at an all time high. We discussed the “Talking” and the many stages that come with it the Meeting stage, the Cinderella stage, the Annoying stage, the Arguing stage, and the The fumbling of the bag stage. We then went on to share our thoughts on emotions on Trust Issues regarding girls trips to exotic locations, Unrealistic Expectations within relationships in regards to money and time (two of the most important things in 2021), and finally the Extravagant Love Life that we all one day hope to have as we focused on "What it takes vs. What you have."

Again these are all jokes, don't take us seriously & enjoy your Valentine's Day

IF you like flats over drums you are SICK!! Welcome back to another episode of the Ninety Nine to Infinity Podcast :) In this audio exclusive we opened up with some prompts from some of our listeners but quickly got carried away talking about which "chicken wing" is better than the other, our favourite and least favourite dipping sauces, and our serious serious views on buffalo sauce (this part got crazy). We went on to discuss the struggles of having a birthday in February and those awkward moments handing out birthday invitations in elementary school. Once we got all that out of the way we had to switch up the pace and get serious with our platform as we shared our thoughts on Black History Month. We bonded over our mutual hate for culture vultures and Kardashian aesthetic women, discussed the importance of understanding your roots and your culture, the understanding of choosing to be educated or oblivious to what's going on right now in the world as well as how important it is to pass down knowledge from generation to generation. We then went on to compare and contrast "The Standard" of success from our elders time to our time, and how much info is too much information to share with people & with social media. After, we shared some info about the Valentine's Day Special (releasing on Valentine's Day).

It's been a minute but we haven't skipped a beat. If you're new to the podcast don't forget to rate and subscribe, and you should probably turn on them post notifications so you never miss a thing. In this action packed 5th episode of the Ninety Nine to Infinity Podcast we covered a whole bunch of foolishness: 8Ball pool hoppers, how it feels to be a creative in 2021, how disrespectfully cold it's been(which you shouldn't know because you can't leave the house), Our reaction to finding out Patios is actually recognized as a language(sike it's just a dialect), the Keyshia Cole vs. Ashanti verzus that we waited TOO long for, the unfortunate circumstances revolving around this new travel ban, HOROSCOPES, we got toxic for a lil bit, talked the silhouette challenge, and sent a out a special message to our lady friends.

Also please excuse Drew's comments about Valentine's Day at the end of the EP.... it was the wine:/

The toxic cast wouldn't be the toxic cast without the understanding that all comments that could be considered "toxic" are 100% jokes. Now that that's out of the way it's time to get to the serious stuff. In this part two audio exclusive we explore all aspects of "toxicity" from the male perspective and female perspective, like what it means to be insecure about trips to Miami or LA, the stories you formulate in your head when you think your significant other is up to no good, falling asleep on the phone with your wcw from high school etc... etc.... (Again these are all jokes)

Happy New Year

Did you have a good Christmas? When Drake dropped 'Take Care' in 2011 could you understand what he was saying? What is a Keyshia Cooligan? Before the New Year we sat down with Kennedy exchange some banter, we chatted about Christmas, Covid(again), time travelling back to the 90's as a 21 yr old, the money we've been spending on food, clothes, pointless stuff etc... how many times it's okay to look at yourself in the mirror before it gets weird, Keyshia Cole vs. Ashanti, and how we were able to understand and apply Drake lyrics during conversations on MSN.

Happy New Year
