Hey guys, guess what? Scott's not on this episode! Something about his wife working overtime and having a kid once again comes between Scott and what is truly important: this podcast. Good thing Sophie and Jon are back from Scotland because otherwise it would just be an hour of me talking to myself, which I'm surprised has yet to happen. Anyhow, after last episode being about old school hip hop and sports this one moves back into the more broad category of "Movies and Shit".

Our longtime faithful listeners (all two of you, thanks mom) will remember way back in 2012 that we had Shane on a special Fringe episode of our little show called Go Fringe Yourself. Well, it took us nearly two years for us to finally get around to having Shane join the canon episodes but by jove we did it. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the fuck was up with my mic so I sound like shit. I blame the fact that I have been working on our audio setup relentlessly for the past few weeks and the stuff of audio software is a fickle mistress indeed.

So Jono and Sophie are in Scotland so it's up to Scott and I to hold the fort down. It's interesting because the first ever 9ES was also the two of us. I think we'll do this on the regular. By regular I mean every 60 episodes. See you in another 2/1/2 years suckers! We talk about racists ruining sports in several ways and also talk a lot about old school hip hop, it's almost a companion piece to our Krush Groove movie episode last time. Enjoy the show kids. I had a really good feeling about this one gang. I really felt like we were gonna manage to get the four of us in a room together for this episode. Alas, it was once again not to be. But that doesn't mean you need to suffer (unless you're a really big Scott fan, but be real, who is? His wife is not even a listener). Anyhow, Sophie, Jon and I get together to talk about fetishes in public, pony girls, the Quebec provincial election, Captain America, the Undertaker's streak, the Lego Movie, Muppets Most Wanted and probably some other shit. We blow the intro pretty hard so that's what I'm basing myself off of.

The incomparable Holly Gauthier-Fankel joins Walter and I for a very civilized discussion that includes theatrical insights and then things take a rapid downward spiral (mostly my fault) when we talk about Houston rapper Fly Young Red's song "Throw That Boy Pussy". I apologize for that in advance. Holly was an absolute delight, talking about alter-ego burlesque star Miss Sugarpuss and also her voice acting career that includes a recurring character on Arthur for the past 18 (!) years.
