In the 26th episode of 9x Tashan Song Stories, we chatted with Deep Karan who talked about his song “Peg Pugg.” He told us how the song is based on a true incident and how he almost gave up on the song’s release before Crown Records decided to put it out. He said he had planned to go abroad after the song had been made and had no money to invest in the music video. It was when Gupz Sehra was approached by the Crown Records team and the video was shot afterwards. He said the song became an instant hit post release and changed many lives.

Guru said he was in Dubai and it was actually one of his fans who requested him to make the song on the topic. He said he took the thought seriously and started writing the song after that. In the 22nd episode of 9x Tashan Song Stories, we chatted with Harish Verma, who told us the story behind his song “Ikk Vaar Hor Soch Lae” with Jaani and B Praak. In the 21st episode of 9x Tashan Song Stories, we chatted with Nishawn Bhullar and Vishal Mishra, who told us the story behind their hit song “Toot Jayein.” Vishal said while he was aware Nishawn had a certain type of fanbase and style of music, he wanted to do something completely opposite and make a song that didn’t really belong to his genre.
