  • Mitchell Speaks of "Dancing in the End Times" In & Out Breaths
Mitchell speaks this evening about the deterioration of our American psyche and what he sees going on across the world, socially, politically and climatically.  It’s not the prettiest picture but there is a simultaneous upsurge in spiritual, emotional and intellectual maturity and  intelligence that could be sufficient to neutralize the ill effects caused by humans and bring us back in alignment, rather than in opposition, to Nature, including our own higher nature.  We are part of the Earth and we are part of the Universe.  How can we coordinate Heaven & Earth?

  • Mitchell Rabin Interviews Tanja Andrejasic-Wechsler, Our Humanity Matters: Water
Mitchell's guest this evening is Tanja Andrejasic-Wechsler, founder of Our Humanity Matters.  In her own words:
As a philosopher and engineer, I decided to create a bottle with a strong social mission and to campaign for a more enlightened humanity by teaching about water and by offering an alternative to current water containers which are most always plastic.  I AM WATER DROP ™ is a beautiful, natural, water-drop shaped bottle created to inspire a more ecological humanity by promoting our relationship with the rest of Nature and the delicacy of the element water that supports life itself.
Tanja is the founder of Our Humanity Matters, and dedicated to inspiring a more enlightened and sustainable humanity that understands all life is connected and interdependent. She is a systems thinker whose efforts are creating a paradigm shift in public awareness of inter-connectivity with one another and the rest of Nature through systems of communication and connectivity including products, art and water. She believes that media and messaging has become part of the nervous system of global society and must reflect our highest values, aspirations and further the connection to the rest of life of which humanity is an intricate part.  Tanja was born and raised in Slovenia.
Mitchell and Tanja know each other for some years and have worked on projects together over time. Mitchell was on one of the panels on Altruism (now posted on the Altruism Youtube channel) filmed at the Society for Ethical Culture of which Tanja was one of the organizers and producers.

  • Mitchell Rabin Interviews former Presidential Green Party Candidate Ralph Nader
Mitchell’s guest is attorney, activist and politician Ralph Nader.  Ralph is an auto-safety reformer and consumer advocate on national renown. He has run for president several times, as a candidate for the Green Party.
Nader’s testimony before the Senate also set in motion Congressional action on automobile safety, and in September 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed into law the National Traffic and nader breaking through powerMotor Vehicle Safety Act. This law created the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which oversees federal safety standards for automobiles and is authorized to impose recalls for unsafe vehicles. In 1967, in a throwback to Upton Sinclair, Nader also initiated a campaign that led to the passage of the 1967 Wholesome Meat Act, which imposed federal standards on slaughterhouses.
In the late 1960s and mid-1970s, Ralph Nader mobilized college students to form Public Interest Research Groups (PIRG), which aided his investigations in public policy and effective government regulation. His professional associates, sometimes referred to derisively as “Nader’s Raiders,” published reports on a wide range of subjects, including baby food, insecticides, mercury poisoning and coal-mine safety. Nader also founded the Center for Responsive Law in 1968 and Public Citizen Inc. in 1971. Idealistic and modest, he became known among his associates for his Spartan personal habits and long working hours.
Ralph was part of the Conscious Politics Roundtable discussion on A Better World Radio in 2012 with Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Barbara Marx Hubbard (the first female VP candidate to ever run) and Rocky Anderson, when Rocky was running for President in the Justice Party.  Listen here: http://abetterworld.tv/evolutionary-politics-roundtable-dennis-kucinich-rocky-anderson-barbara-marx-hubbard/
