  • Rabbi Simcha Weinberg & Healing the Abuse in Communities
Wednesday, June 11, 6pm EDT: Abuse of all sorts is rampant in numerous communities across our country & world. Emotional, verbal, physical & sexual abuse all go largely unreported because of the stigma, embarrassment & humiliation, as well as often the retribution often following reporting. In short, these are among the most difficult and serious issues we humans face in our society, with so little practical way to address, rectify, prosecute and heal these situations.
To address these very delicate issues, Mitchell's guest tonight is the venerable Rabbi Simcha Weinberg. Rabbi Weinberg has been helping to rescue people, mainly children, from contexts in which these kinds of abuse are very under cover yet rampant.
Rabbi Weinberg was the Senior Rabbi at Lincoln Square Synagogue, New York from from 1991-96,
Simcha (which, in Hebrew, means "joy"), created “Religion on the Job” (annual program focusing on the Jewish perspective of the major professions), was the Vice President of Council of Orthodox Jewish Organizations of the West Side and has an extraordinary number of credits to his name. He is a highly respected Rabbi across the U.S.
His credentials are too many to list. Rabbi Weinberg has done and continues to influence numerous communities with his work, saving the lives of hundreds and impacting thousands through his extraordinary rescue, teaching, organization and healing activity.
Mitchell is very pleased to have Rabbi Weinberg on A Better World this evening to open up and discuss these tender topics. As a therapist himself for decades working with clients through very difficult issues at times, Mitchell especially welcomes the opportunity to open up and address these issues.

Wednesday, June 4, 6pm EDT: Tonight’s show will be an opportunity for you, the listener, to ‘weigh in’ on the subjects A Better World Radio has been addressing over the last period of time or to raise new topics you feel are worthy of discussion.
Mitchell Rabin will lead the discussion. He will discuss the importance of personal relationships in all domains and the role of love, emotional, spiritual maturity and brain development separate from and inside them.
He will de-construct what appears to be edifices and unshakable, unyielding traditions through, love, commitment, intention and humor.
In effect, the idea is to shake loose of one’s hard and fastened identities to ideas which harm others and oneself, or to emotions, including greed and fear, which perpetrate virtually irreparable damage and a society that is completely dysfunctional.
The roles of commitment and hope will be examined.
Mitchell is a transpersonal psychotherapist, communication consultant, acupuncturist, Stress Management Consultant, Host & Producer of A Better World Radio & TV, teacher, eco-entrepreneur. Wednesday, April 16, 6pm EDT: This evening's radio show will be with Mitchell Jay Rabin, about opening up consciousness to what we sense may be its next evolutionary stage, a shift to something else, so that we can begin to conceive a world of beauty, compassion and integrity, far, far different than so much of the world we have today.
We will scan the planetary systems in place from this elevated view and see how we can begin to intercede in this lower consciousness effectively, with a laugh or two, perhaps a tear or two, and seek to nudge the human species "upward and forward", in terms of mindfulness but beyond mindfulness, to a place of a new space of human potential, moving into the pre-frontal cortex and the heartspace of coherence where we can burst forward with appreciation, gratitude, compassion and love as we look out, from this purview, at the world we've created.
All are invited to call in and ask questions or comment.
