The Halloween extravaganza is winding down, this is the penultimate Michael Myers movie that we have to discuss, and wow is it good.  If you haven't seen this one please watch it before you listen to our dumb asses talk about it because it's.............it's really fuckin good (High Fidelity reference here for you sharp minded movie geeks).  Anyway I love this movie and we give it a lot of high praise, in stark contrast to the last episode where we shat on Resurrection for about 2 hours. Well unfortunately our Halloween extravaganza leads us here, to Halloween Resurrection, what can we really say about this movie that hasn't already been said?  Well we'll try to say some new things, but the key takeaway is that it sucks, so if you've never seen it maybe give it a miss, but still listen to us shit all over it.

In a bold move the next installment of the Halloween franchise, Halloween H20, completely disregards the events of 4, 5 and 6 and presents itself as a direct sequel to Halloween Part 2, which I'm not mad about that whole story line had become really convoluted.  We also see the return of Jamie Lee Curtis which is a nice treat, as well as the introduction of Josh Hartnett.  A decent addition to the franchise we had a good time covering it.

Well we've come to the last Halloween movie before the timelines go all wonky, for better or worse, Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers.  Technically we go through the theatrical cut but we also explain the differences from the original producers cut, which is wildly different and worth a watch, and we also get to talk about the feature film debut of Paul Rudd, and we go super long on accident so buckle up.

Well, it's unclear why this movie is subtitled the revenge of Michael Myers, he doesn't seem to get revenge at all, and in fact the whole movie is a mess, to be honest we dump all over this movie cause it really is not good, and it's a disappointing follow up to part 4, but we have a good time ripping it apart anyway.

Continuing on in our deep dive of all of Halloween we come upon the movie that brought Michael Myers back into the fold, and a movie that we really like a lot as it throws back to a lot of the themes that made the original so good, so walk with us through our breakdown of Halloween 4 the Return of Michael Myers.

Well this movie can certainly be polarizing, released to widespread critical and audience disdain but gaining in popularity over the decades to come Halloween 3: Season of the Witch almost defines the term cult classic.  Sure there's no Michael Myers, but there are creepy androids and creepy child killing masks, so we enjoy it for the most part.  If you watched this movie once and hated it, give it another go we think it's worth it.

Rolling into part 3 of our 6 week Halloween extravaganza we break into the sequel that set the tone for (most of) the other sequels, 1981's Halloween 2.  While arguably not nearly as good as the original we still have a lot of fun talking about the bits we really like and putting a mild shit on some of the bits we don't, and just having a good time with it all around.

In part 1 of our deep dive of the Halloween series we start at the beginning, naturally, with the original 1978 classic from John Carpenter, the movie that spawned a whole new world of horror movies.  This is gonna be a long one so strap in because we have a lot to unpack here.
