Story Transcript:

Cy: Mae’r haul yn gwenu dros Ardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru.
En: The sun is smiling over the Ardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru (Welsh National Botanical Garden).

Cy: Does dim unman tebyg iddi yn nhymor y gwanwyn.
En: There is nowhere like it in the spring season.

Cy: Mae blodau’n blodeuo ymhob lliw, a'r awyr yn gorlif â pherarogl y planhigion.
En: Flowers blossom in every color, and the air overflows with the fragrance of the plants.

Cy: Mae adar yn sibrwd caneuon tair troedfedd uwchlaw ymwelwyr hapus.
En: Birds whisper songs three feet above happy visitors.

Cy: Gareth, carwr natur a chariad mawr i laswelltiroedd, camodd i’r ardd gyda dim ond cyffro am ddarganfod amrywiaeth y planhigion lleol.
En: Gareth, a nature lover with a deep affection for meadows, stepped into the garden with nothing but excitement for discovering the diversity of local plants.

Cy: Er nid yw’n grefftwr coeth yng ngwaith blodau, mae atyniad dwfn ganddo at y margareti gwylaidd.
En: Although he is not a polished craftsman in floral work, he has a deep attraction to the modest daisy.

Cy: Ei fwriad? Diwrnod heddychlon a dysgu.
En: His intention? A peaceful and educational day.

Cy: Ond wrth iddo fynd ymlaen, canfyddodd gafn rhywle’n denu’r dorf.
En: But as he went on, he noticed a commotion somewhere attracting a crowd.

Cy: Aeth Gareth i mewn, caniatawyd chwarae barddoni athrylithol gyda blodau.
En: Gareth entered and was allowed to play with brilliant flower arrangements.

Cy: Yn ei syfrdandod, roedd eisoes wedi cofrestru i gystadleuaeth trefnu blodau.
En: In his amazement, he was already signed up for a flower arrangement competition.

Cy: "Helo, Gareth yw’r enw," cyfarchodd a phenlinio Rhian, y fflores fawr o ardal Llandeilo, a oedd yn arwain y gystadleuaeth.
En: "Hello, Gareth is the name," he greeted and kneeled to Rhian, the grand florist from the Llandeilo area who was leading the competition.

Cy: Roedd Elinor, yn eistedd yn agos ati, yn gwenu’n gynnes, ei gward.
En: Elinor, sitting close to her, smiled warmly, her guardian.

Cy: Defnyddio ychydig o bwysau dyletswydd, penderfynodd Gareth aros.
En: Using a little nudge of duty, Gareth decided to stay.

Cy: Nid oedd yn gallu gyfleu ei gamgymeriad o fynd i mewn i’r gystadleuaeth dan argraff anghywir, ond teimlodd gan y gymdeithas mai llwyddiant oedd o fewn cyrraedd llaw.
En: He couldn't convey his mistake of entering the competition under a false impression, but he felt the support of the community, and success seemed within reach.

Cy: "Elinor, gallwch chi fy helpu i?" gofynnodd Gareth, wirioneddol awyddus i wneud y gorau.
En: "Elinor, can you help me?" asked Gareth, truly eager to do his best.

Cy: Trefnodd Elinor, gydag agwedd amyneddgar ac anogaeth, ei fod yn rhodd yn ddigon hwyliog.
En: Elinor, with a patient demeanor and encouragement, ensured it was an enjoyable effort.

Cy: Wrth i oriau hedfan heibio, fe welodd Gareth ei fod, yn ôl pob tebyg, yn gwneud yn well nag a feddyliodd.
En: As hours flew by, Gareth found that he was probably doing better than he had thought.

Cy: Heb dros wyro oddi wrth ei hoffter o margareti, yn y diweddos â phrif drefniad ei hun yn gorchuddio â blodau ar hap.
En: Without deviating from his fondness for daisies, he ended up with a main arrangement covered randomly with flowers.

Cy: Wrth fiseleu dros y gwaith, mewnpenderfynodd efe ieithiad tymerus, "Allai fod yn well i mi fynychu gwersi'n rinweddol i wella."
En: While contemplating his work, he timidly concluded, "Perhaps I should attend some real classes to improve."

Cy: Pan ddaeth yr amser dyfarniad, roedd Gareth yn aros yn llonydd.
En: When the judging time came, Gareth waited quietly.

Cy: Gwnaeth y beirniadu ŵyl o’i drefniant anarferol.
En: The judges marveled at his unusual arrangement.

Cy: Roedd y canlyniad yn syndod llwyr: Gareth a enillodd wobr “Defnydd Mwyaf Creadigol o Fargareti.”
En: The result was a complete surprise: Gareth won the prize for "Most Creative Use of Daisies."

Cy: Aeth Gareth adref y diwrnod hwnnw, nid dim ond ag anrhydedd fach ond gyda hyder newydd i wynebu gweithio tuag at fertigau newydd.
En: Gareth went home that day, not only with a small honor but also with a newfound confidence to face higher goals.

Cy: Gan wybod mai hwyrach nad oedd bob amser yn bril, dechreuodd ymddiried yn gryf mewn ei allu i archwilio cyfrinebau newydd; ddechreuodd dylunio blodau ei gwrs yw pelydru gyda boddhad.
En: Knowing he might not always be brilliant, he began to trust strongly in his ability to explore new mysteries; he started designing flowers, his course illuminated with satisfaction.
