Albert worked as a drama critic for newspapers in Chicago and New York before becoming a successful Hollywood screenwriter. He was born on 9 October 1884 in Kane, Iowa, USA. He was known for The films: Flashlight, 1917) Dancing Co-Ed, 1939, and The Rainmakers, 1935. He died on 24 October 1948 in Jackson, California, USA. This book follows a member of the Royal Mounted Canadian police as he investigates that murder of a fellow officer and hunts down their killer in the Canadian woods.
