Chosen by our 1919 trivia winner, our 1920 film is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a silent horror film based on the novella written by Robert Louis Stevenson. The most well-known of three separate Jekyll and Hyde film adaptations released in 1920, this Paramount production is directed by John S. Robertson and stars John Barrymore, of the multi-generational Barrymore dynasty of Hollywood.  Conversation topics include: the duality of man, “roughing the quarterback,” and John Barrymore’s uncanny ability to contort his face.
