We think back to when we first started working in the fashion industry and discuss what we wish we knew before jumping in head first. Would we still have pursued a career fashion if we knew these beforehand? Probably, because we are the certain type of crazy.

Alan Goddard is the manager of Visual Merchandising at a luxury fashion house, and we had the pleasure of picking his brain this week on all things visual merchandising. Alan tells us his day-to-day, gives advice on breaking into the role, and reveals what he didn’t expect the job to entail.
