This week I am, once again, doing the best I can with what I got! If you follow me on social media Instagram.com/cheiconic then you know that I've been under the weather this week but I was determined to get this episode out and on time. We talk about some business topics and other things but really we are right on the same track of sticking to who you are in times of uncertainty.

This week we are giving ourselves credit and letting others know we stand on consistency and accountability in relationships. Did you see the season finale of Snow Fall? If not, catch up. I don't give any spoilers or recap it but you still should go watch it. We also talk about people wanting a rider in a relationship but all the while refusing to value them and protect them. 

Let's get into some things...

This week we lean into the business and workplace talk. While I am speaking from my own direct experience, I understand that there are plenty of people in work environments that aren't conducive to the main reason people are there, to get the work done. I sprinkle some other things in there but that's our focus this week. We know one of the mantras of this podcast is "each one teach one" and I hope this episode not only does that, but that it makes people feel seen.

This week we are talking about valuing your vision and standing beside it even when it starts to seem unclear. Also, let's talk about why people keep calling Russell Wilson corny. A man who loves his wife and family and shows them respect publically and hopefully privately can't be corny. I refuse to believe that y'all even truly believe that idea. We don't have tv reviews this week but we do have shenanigans. 

With that said, let's get into some things...

Y'all know good and well I couldn't help naming this episode "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It". I honestly don't know where my brain goes when it comes to naming these episodes sometimes. But, we all know what was top of the mind this week. This week we cover Slapgate but not in the way you think. When was the last time you needed grace? Was it recorded for the world to see? I hope not. I also hope the last embarrassing moment you experienced wasn't out there for the world to see and make memes about. Beyond Slapgate, we discuss not placing your nevers on other people's " I believe it's possible". Also, the podcast has video this week. Yes, I got out of my comfort zone and recorded myself taping the podcast.

With all that said, let's get into some things.

This week we have a more serious tone but we are still full of the fun and crazy you all love. We talk about the confirmation hearing of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, imposter syndrome and starting evening when you are not sure where you are going. Also, we have the final part of our interview with YourWeaveDealer and LaceLayer CEO & Founder Arlene Baldwin.

This is your day. I heard that in my head like I use to hear it coming from my grandparents' room in the morning. This week I have a treat.
