This first episode is about focusing on your path and journey. Just when you think you aren’t doing enough, so many doors will open for you.

Earlier this week we talked about consistency and today we are focusing on resilience. That same spark that made you start is fueled by the thing that will keep you going.

Keep talking even if it seems like no one is listening. Keep writing even if it seems like no one is reading. Fun fact: they are. They just aren’t interacting with you yet. It’s similar to when you go in Marshall’s or TJ Maxx and smell all of the candles before you buy a pot 🤣🤣🤣 then a few weeks later you come back and smell all the candles again and buy 7. I know we are conditioned to believe if they build it they will come in an instant gratification type of way but the truth is, if you build it they may walk by it, take pictures of it and then not do anything. This is a longevity fight, not a fireworks display. You don’t want to make a bunch of noise and be pretty for 20 minutes. You want to be consistent, loud at times, and long lasting.

Welcome to Episode 1 of Janky Voice Notes w/ Che: Is This Thing On?

I’m not going to hold you, this week’s audio voice is giving quiet storm. I may have missed my calling or my decade LOL.

This week we are discussing how what someone else may see as success could look like a failure to you. The truth of the matter is this; we all value different things at different levels. For instance, I could say ‘man, I worked out today’ and somebody might say ‘girl, you are killing it. I haven’t worked out in week.’ To that person, I’ve accomplished something they haven’t done yet. To me, I’m thinking about the fact that I only stretched and didn’t lift any weights. Both of us are right. We are just looking at it from different vantage points.

This week we are talking about dating. I tweeted "As I go on dates and talk to more people, I get angrier at my ex for making me have to come back to these ghetto streets! 1 star!" and we are going to talk about it.
