In this episode, Christina Martin chats with her bestie Dr. Ali Frye about her incredible journey through a death experience, her recovery, and how it has transformed her outlook on life. This is a wild one folks! Ali shares insights on appreciating small moments, community support, and the importance of life-saving skills.
Ali Frye is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, volunteer search-and-rescue member, dog mom, and newly minted volunteer firefighter who calls Amherst, Nova Scotia home. Originally from British Columbia, Ali is also a recent cardiac-arrest survivor - and, as her friends will tell you, apparently pretty damn hard to kill. She’s passionate about animals, nature, helping others, and making the most of her second chance at life.
