She had no idea that her marriage would become one of extreme domestic violence. Victoria has endured 100+ surgeries, and lifelong disabilities as a result of the violent assaults. She shares her horrific story, and how she broke free to build an amazing life.

Victoria wrote a book about her life which is titled "Who Kicked First A Memoir". She also continues to work to help others at A Contagious Smile. Supporting families with both special needs as well as survivors of domestic violence for well over 16 years now. As a special needs parent, a survivor of domestic violence, and being special needs herself, she understands first-hand just how challenging it was and still is to be able to find the assistance that you need.
