John and I had good conversation... we touched on quite a few Mennonite issues. We agreed on several, and disagreed on others....but there was mutual respect between us both.

John is a Mennonite, I am a former Mennonite. I'm a Mennonite by heritage only...John joined a conservative Mennonite by choice.

It was a joy to hear that his understanding of the gospel is clear and simple and that there are Mennonite groups that do hold to much of the doctrine I do!
