There isn't much that Stephen Fry hasn't done in the arts and entertainment worlds. Actor, screenwriter, author, playwright, journalist, poet, comedian, television presenter, film director, mythological reteller - the list is as impressive as it is long.

He has led a remarkable, and at times troubled, life and now the multi-award-winning comedian, actor and master storyteller is returning to New Zealand in November to share the ups and downs of a life spent in and around show business.

Ahead of the shows in Auckland and Wellington, Fry spoke to Newsable about how he got to where he is, his sexuality and battles with depression, his dislike of social media and, of course, everybody's favourite randy parrot.
