What the Music you love says about you

Sarah Tapp, host of The Hangover, joins us to talk about her interview with Dr. Susan Rogers. Susan was Prince’s Staff Engineer and is now an Associate Professor in the Music Production, Engineering and Liberal Arts departments at Berkeley College of Music. She has a doctorate in psychology, after also studying music cognition and Psychoacuostics from McGill University.

Rogers' book, ‘What it Sounds Like - What the Music you love says about you’ talks about the seven dimensions of music for the listener: authenticity, realism, novelty, melody, lyrics, rhythm and timbre. She also discusses how a musician's fashion or personal life can affect how we perceive them.

Reset Festival

Pascal Schumacher talks about the upcoming Reset Festival taking place at Neimenster Abbey 18-20 January, where eight musicians from across Europe will come together in collaboration with original music. It starts off on Thursday with a musical pub crawl from the Grund, with Friday and Saturday in Neimenster Abbey itself.

Co-Labor and Social Integration

Catherine Stronck, General Manager of Co-Labor, tells us all about the various initiatives to bring people into work through horticulture. Co-Labor has six sectors: co-labor maart, co-labor gaart, co-labor grénge kuerf, co-labor natur, co-labor bistro and co-labor gaïa. They work with ADEM to reintegrate people to professional life.
