Welcome to the very first episode of A Daily Dose of Nostalgia!
I’m Joey Belveduto, and every day we’re taking about 10 minutes to step away from the craziness of everyday life and remember the things that made growing up so damn fun.
In Episode 1, we’re talking about what nostalgia means to me, why I think we need it, and why looking back doesn’t mean you aren’t excited about where you’re going.
Plus, since today is September 21st, we HAVE to talk about Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” taking over Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind for the day.
We’re also opening up the nostalgia time capsule with DuckTales, Kirby’s Dream Course, Saturday morning cartoons, Blockbuster, VHS tapes, Toys “R” Us, Scholastic Book Fairs, AOL, Tamagotchis, old-school Nintendo and those little pieces of childhood we sometimes completely forget about until something suddenly brings them back.
That’s what this show is all about.
The love for yesterday and hope for tomorrow.
