Today on a Daily Walk we’re going to take notice of a Jewish holiday, and see its formal establishment. We’re wrapping up the book of Esther today. The celebration of Purim actually still exists today, and it was designed to recall how God protected the Jews from destruction.

At various times it may seem like evil is winning. But the book of Esther reminds us that Good Triumphs Over Evil. And in the end, God wins. Today on a Daily Walk we’ll take a look at a sinister attack of the enemy to destroy the Jewish race, and how God intervened and put a stop to it. He used a young lady named Esther to do it.

Esther is actually being rebuked by her cousin, and encouraged to stand up to her fears rather than run away from it. How would she respond? We’ll find out.
