Joseph explains that God desires for us to be blessed, which is why He created all things for us to enjoy abundantly. However, God's ultimate purpose in providing wealth is to establish His covenant throughout the world. He clarifies that God has a way of breaking us free from the Babylonian system, emphasizing that a counterfeit of God's economy arises from a false anointing or the Babylonian mindset.

Next, Joseph states that the best way to avoid these counterfeits is to focus on what is real. He references Deuteronomy 8:16-18 to illustrate that God does not tempt us but instead tests our hearts to determine if we are qualified for His plans. He explains that God tests us by observing our life patterns, as these patterns shape our capacity. Furthermore, Deuteronomy 8:17 outlines everything that the mammon mindset represents, while Deuteronomy 8:18 reveals the true source of wealth, urging us to remember our God, who alone empowers us to acquire wealth.

Joseph further elaborates that true wealth consists of having what we need to fulfill our assignments while also possessing the surplus to invest in other endeavors. He emphasizes that God grants us the ability to acquire wealth so that His covenants may be established through us, just as He promised our fathers. He concludes by highlighting that God provides us with wealth to spread the gospel globally, assuring us that God will bless us when we support His purposes.
