She is a writer and VO actress for ABC's When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren and she is the voice of Angela Baker on the DreamWorks animated series Dragons: The Nine Realms.  Pavar has performed stand-up at NYC and LA’s most popular comedy venues. Her performances include shows at The Broadway Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, Second City Hollywood, and The Comedy Central Stage. She has appeared in the LA Comedy Festival, The Northwest Black Comedy Festival, The Laugh Riot Girl Comedy Festival, and the International Lady Laughs Comedy Festival.  Pavar is a member of two sketch comedy teams, including The Pit Theater BoogieManja sketch team- Denise (NYC) and WOCA- Women of Color Anonymous (LA). Pavar is also the Co-Producer and Creative Director of The Goss, a late-night comedy show on Twitch and live on stage in NYC-based theaters.  In 2021, Pavar was selected as a recipient of the Pit Theater/SNL scholarship, placing her as one of the top writers and performers, gaining attention from the iconic program.

As a Writers Guild of America member, Pavar sits on the Committee of Black Writers and the Disabled Writers Committee. Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis as a child, Pavar channels her experience with a lifelong disability into her comedy. Championing disability awareness, she amplifies the voice of that vastly underrepresented community. Before launching her comedy career, Pavar was a hip-hop morning radio personality on 103 Jamz in Virginia and a TV News Producer. Her credits include NBC Los Angeles, NBC New York, and ABC 7 New York. She has interviewed President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama, and First Lady Michelle Obama. She brought audiences candid conversations with the biggest names in entertainment. Pavar trained with The PIT Theater, UCB NY and LA, and Second City Hollywood. Naomi has a heart for helping children master literacy skills and fall in love with reading! She has fundraised and donated over 850 copies of her two children’s books. She recently established a nonprofit organization, Literacy and Diversity for All, Inc., with the mission of providing literacy support and promoting positive representation to children in under-represented communities. The organization’s goal is to publish and donate books featuring characters of Color, written and/or illustrated by people of Color. Naomi serves as the Assistant Secretary of the Black Caucus of the American Library Association. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Naomi is also a book editor, who takes great pleasure in assisting authors in bringing their stories to the world. She is also a member of the Editorial Freelancer’s Association. She resides in Michigan.

Born and raised in Okeechobee, FL, Daya Lorin was tremendously inspired by the music of R&B legend, Anita Baker, during her early childhood. She then transitioned her musical affection to 90's hip-hop infused R&B icons Mary J. Blige and SWV.  A “horrible" attempt at writing an R&B song as a high school senior led Daya to begin recycling her music composition skills in the Gospel/Inspiration genre as a freshman at Florida A&M University. While at FAMU, she sang and recorded with their Gospel choir on the “Twinkie Clark-Terrell Presents the Florida A&M University Gospel Choir” project in 1996. Since that time, Daya Lorin, got married, became a mother of 5, and has served as a worship leader at Fatih Christian Church (ATL), Linked Up Church (ATL), and Victory World Church pastored by Hip-Hop Soul legend, Montell Jordan.  We welcome her to A Dose of Hope Radio for the INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC HIGHLIGHT – kicking in the door with her new single, “PRAYERS GO UP”!

AND DAISY PAIGE the author of a Christian autobiography titled Unexpected Moments forewarded by Kirk Cameron. She was sexually, physically and emotionally abused from a child until her adult years. She has an awesome story and believes she went through the things in life to prepare her for and make her strong enough to face what is ahead. Daisy is proud to say that God has been there for her and believes that firmly.  This author has been diagnosed with a rare terminal neurological condition and is donating 10% of the proceeds from her book to charity researching a cure for MSA.

ABOUT MSA

MSA or Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a rare, degenerative neurological disorder affecting your body's involuntary (autonomic) functions, including blood pressure, breathing, bladder function and motor control. Formerly called Shy-Drager syndrome, olivopontocerebellar atrophy or striatonigral degeneration, MSA shares many Parkinson's disease-like symptoms, such as slow movement, rigid muscles and poor balance. Treatment includes medications and lifestyle changes to help manage symptoms, but there is no cure. The condition progresses gradually and eventually leads to death.
