We were uniquely and beautifully created with gifts and talents no one else in this world has. One of the biggest tragedies is passing through this life without meaning or purpose. Your worth is not based on how successful you are, how much money you have, what age you got married or the fact that you’re still single ready to mingle. You’re already approved from within. If we are not careful, we can link our value and identity to things that have no place to determine our worth. Words are cheap. You will know them by their fruits. Whether you realize it or not, you are tremendously influenced by the environment you’re in. This comes in the form of relationships, music, television, where you hang out, what you fill your mind with. It’s too costly to allow the wrong environment to influence you. It happens to so many of us. We find ourselves in situations where we count down until Friday every week, stay at a job for a paycheck, stay in an unfulfilling draining career or.. fill in the blank. The one thing we’ll never gain back is time and sometimes we think with time things will change or get better. If we don’t intentional make a change, nothing changes. Life passes so quickly friends. Hurt people hurt people. You are always going to be dealing with insecure, jealous and hurt people. We have no control over other peoples dysfunction and we are not responsible in fixing it but we do have control over how we respond. The same people that hurt us are the ones who truly need love.. Not attack. At the same token, God will test us with how we respond to other peoples successes. The quest to find happiness. Is there a formula? What does it take? When things do not pan out the way you think they should or when they should happen in life, it can lead to suffering. There are situations in life we simply cannot control. Whether it’s an unexpected storm or another person's behavior, sometimes there’s not much we can do. Podcasting, reading, buying all the courses to self development or to help with your vision.. these are great things and absolutely needed! The danger zone is when we just stop there. When we focus all of our attention and energy on learning but do not take action, there's no real change.. only a false belief that we are changing. It's like a warm bubble bath, a temporary fulfillment with no real change. Knowledge without execution is meaningless.

It’s beautiful to dream and go after a goal. In fact, it’s healthy and how we are wired as human beings.. To GROW! Sometimes life does not go according to our plan or vision. Sometimes there’s curveballs or category 5 hurricanes thrown our way. Whether it’s envisioning your soon to be marriage one day or the career of your dreams.. we can have such a tight grip on the results or expectations we crave soooo bad! Maybe you’ve accomplished your dream but still do not seem to have found the fulfillment you thought it would bring you. The reality is, life can be unpredictable with storms thrown in the least timely manner. It’s important to only take control over things you have control over and to be ok with evolving as they do. It’s not always what happens as much as how we respond to any situation in life!
