A recent court of appeal ruling has made a landmark decision that JMBs of high-rise buildings are not allowed to charge different rates on owners in mixed development projects. We speak to Andrew Wong, a member of the Conveyancing Practice Committee of the Malaysia Bar Council, to understand the implication of this which may affect up to 30% of Malaysians.
