In a brutally honest and transparent episode, Dan talks about living in constant fear. Living in fear every single day dates back to his childhood. For every fear Dan has, he's developed or obtained different methods to combat each fear to no avail. It's a vicious cycle and a perpetually losing battle. He even fears success. His anxiety disorder probably heavily contributes to this.

Dan shares how he was summoned again for jury duty for the second time this year. He also talks about gun ownership while having anxiety issues. The main topic of the show is public service. The images that civilians typically see of the military, police officers, firefighters, etc. often make the jobs look glamorous. P shares how that's not really the case as he details his 8-years of service as a firefighter and EMT. He talks about the 72-hour work-weeks, the constant training, drilling, seeing gruesome injuries, and deaths.

Dan struggles to be able to tell people that he loves them and is very uncomfortable when people tell him that they love him. Both Dan and P grew up receiving little affection and it carried over into adulthood. P talks about how his children are the same when it comes to being overly affectionate.

Dan is joined by @PFromCharlotte to discuss how anxiety doesn't necessarily mean "afraid." Dan talks about how even though he has severe anxiety when it comes to interacting with people and generally avoids people at all costs, he will confront someone if it is 100% absolutely necessary, which he had to do recently. Even then the outcome of such a confrontation will usually have less than desirable outcomes.

P talks about how just being Black alone is to be in a constant state of anxiousness even if you have no previous mental health disorders. He explains how doing seemingly innocent things can lead to encounters with law enforcement solely because of the color of our skin.

Dan shares his thoughts on the murder of Jonathan Price and how he would never find humor in the death of an unarmed Black man at the hands of the police, no matter the victim's personal beliefs.

He talks about making a totally out of character move by recently appearing as a guest on another podcast, which he usually declines due to his severe social anxiety. Dan also talks about being struggling with 2020 and being unable to cope with any more trauma, bad news, or anything not useful. Lastly he talks about how the internet has made people extremely comfortable disrespecting people online, especially Black women, but wouldn't say anything to a man on or offline.

Dan opens up about the uncomfortable but brutally honest dialogue he's been having internally. He talks about learning to be able to laugh at himself, friendships based on terms and conditions, and how people often hide behind who they want people to believe they are.

Dan explains how he's conflicted between growth and being a hypocrite. A lot of the things Dan will not tolerate or finds reprehensible, he's done before. Things like being judgemental, having a huge ego, lying, taking advantage of people, and being mentally/verbally abusive at times. How can you despise someone for doing some of the same things that you've done yourself? Does being ashamed of and finding these actions disgusting represent growth? Lastly, Dan shares why he keeps a comfortable distance from people that are close to him.

Dan is rejoined by P to talk about some of their "OGs." We talk about some of the people who were instrumental in helping us become the men we are today. Dan talks about how one of his OGs that used to be heavily involved in the streets pulled him out of the streets, leading by example.

P talks about how he and his brother bonded over weed in P's teenage years, making him a little more receptive to his guidance. P also shares a story on how Dan's cousin counseled him into not "making someone disappear."
