She is going to share about a horrible tragedy that happened to her family in 2011. The unthinkable occurred when her pregnant niece was murdered in a drug incident. What happens next is a story of forgiveness and seeing others as people who are more than the worst thing they've ever done.

Her mantra is to tell her students, "Let your light shine!" You can let the light win or you can let the dark win. We may not understand why God lets us walk in some dark places, but we have to keep moving towards His Light. Her story is truly inspiring!

This one is a tear jerker.  You all are going to love hearing from Ricki Lea Moore.  She and her husband live in Lexington, Oklahoma, where Doug is the Youth Minister at First Baptist Church, Lexington.  Doug and Ricki Lea have five beautiful children, and Ricki Lea shares with us the story of one of those precious children going to heaven. This story begins with their son, Xander, being diagnosed with cancer at age 2 1/2.  This was a nine-year-long, excruciating battle of hills and valleys.  One of the things Ricki Lea shares with us is that she learned God's greatest purpose is not always for our immediate comfort.  She reminds us that God will carry us through our darkest hours.  He is there in your midst and wants to "dazzle you" with His plan, as Xander would say.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day, everyone!!!

Let's talk marriage and relationships. Janet Dance and her husband, Mark, have spent years ministering to married couples. Mark is currently serving in Pastoral Development for Oklahoma Baptist Ministers, and formerly served with Lifeway and pastored several churches. Janet has been by his side every step of the way. They have been married for 33 years and have two grown children. We get to talk to Janet all about this today.

Janet wears many hats and is a talented jack of all trades. She has been a teacher, a dietician, a seamstress, taught at a university, is currently a realtor! What an overachiever! (Enneagram 3, y'all).

One of the things we talk about is what it's like to grow up as a Preacher's Kid (a.k.a.: P.K.) and the pressures that can come with that. Janet went through some hard things in regards to finding herself and not just being what she thought others expected her to be. (Heads-up: there is some discussion on cutting.)

Her passion is for marriages and making them work. She gives us some great ideas for working on our marriages. If you aren't married, stick around and check this out! This is good relationship advice.

If you've ever had chronic pain and wondered how you would ever make it through the valley, this episode is for you! And, if you haven't... it's still for you! None of us knows what's around the corner, and there will certainly be a time that we will relate to this story in our personal lives or in the lives of our loved ones.

Desha Clawson has been married to her husband, Casey, for 40 years. They have four sons and two daughters-in-law. She is so amazing and someone Robin and Jill desire to emulate!

Last year, she had been dealing with TMJ and went to have it checked out. It turned out that she needed a partial jaw replacement. If you've ever had mouth pain, you know it is all-consuming. At this same time, she was dealing with sciatic pain from a previous rollerblading accident! (How much do we love that she rollerblades?) The pain became so severe that she found herself having confusing thoughts about ending things permanently. Thankfully, she reached out to Jesus and he provided a way out. She gives us great lessons on what her take-away lessons were from the whole experience from which we can all benefit. What a great reminder of God's faithfulness toward all of us!
