Aug. 31, 2022 - It's been more than half a year since New York law was updated to allow survivors of sex or labor trafficking to have their criminal records wiped of all offenses that occurred while they were victims of human trafficking. We explore the implementation of the statute change with Leigh Latimer, supervising attorney for the Legal Aid Society's Exploitation Intervention Project.
