Today we're going to talk about how eating disorders may present alongside other mental health conditions. This is known as 'co-occurring diagnoses'.
Possible co-occurring diagnoses include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Substance Abuse
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Self-Harm

We often say eating disorders start as a mental health concern and quickly become a physical health concern. Starvation syndrome is one of the physical complications that can occur from an eating disorder.
