In this extra special summer solstice meditation, we are practicing balancing our energy in our formal practice. We are using mindfulness to scan the physical and emotional body as a way of tuning our instrument. We are tightening our strings as needed, by bringing more energy to our physical posture, or using our intention for awakening to bring inspiration and ardency to our practice. We are loosening the strings as needed, bringing more relaxation and a more expansive open awareness, and reminding ourselves of the gradual path.
