Mitch Erickson owns and operates a group home for adults with special needs, including my younger brother Joe T, who has down syndrome (from episode #1). Mitch  shares his journey of overcoming trauma that left him paralyzed as a young adult, and finding a new way forward to discover a satisfying life filled with meaning as a caregiver.

She and her team move and shake at a time when our communities need all the help they can get in the current global and local economic climate to provide income for themselves and their families, while building community.

Kevin Warner, born out of the maker movement, a pacific northwest version of Adam Savage and our own local myth buster and maker extraordinaire,  can really get down and solve problems both fun and those of more serious consequence. Kevin put his ginormous brain and high tech toys to work solving PPE supply shortages all of our local front line workers confronted. Kevin was like a genie at a time when we all needed a genie the most.
