There’s an old stone house that has stood at the center of the historic town of Perth, Ontario,  for nearly two hundred years. But according to staff and locals, the house may not be empty when the doors are locked and the visitors go home.

In this episode of Haunted Canada, Nadine Bailey speaks with local historian Susan Code about the strange and well-documented encounters inside Matheson House — from a rocking chair that moves on its own, to chess pieces that change positions overnight,. Some believe that Roderick Matheson never truly left the house he built, and that even in death… his presence is still there.
