Of course there has to be some government regulating this process, thrusting the world into a new society based on life scores. Our main character, Julian, is a teen who uncovers a wild conspiracy where many are forced to die to maintain natural resources. This YA novel is very reminiscent of the ‘Divergent’ & ‘Hunger Games’ plot profile where kids are positioned to save the world. Overall Hines’ has a fair debut, looking out for a sequel though!

Pippa is a sketchy cold teenager running from something 3. Luke never received closure post kidnap & 4. Mr. Tadeckis is weirdly effective.
