Story Transcript:

Cy: Mewn heuldro aur, lliwiau'r hydref yn goleuo'r awyr, cerddodd Rhiannon a Gareth tuag at y Ganolfan Ymwelwyr Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri.
En: In a golden glow, the autumn colors lighting up the sky, Rhiannon and Gareth walked towards the Ganolfan Ymwelwyr Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri (National Park Visitors Center).

Cy: Roedd yr aer yn crebachu, yn llawn addewid a chofio.
En: The air was crisp, full of promise and remembrance.

Cy: Roedd eu tad yn caru'r lle hwn, ac roedd mwynhad ganddo fynd am heic hir drwy'r coed a'r mynyddoedd megis adref.
En: Their father loved this place, and he found joy in taking long hikes through the woods and mountains as if it were home.

Cy: Rhiannon, gyda llygaid ffocysu ar ei thad, roedd ei llwyr o gyfrifoldeb.
En: Rhiannon, with eyes focused on her father, felt a weight of responsibility.

Cy: "Dewch arni, Gareth," meddai hi, ei llais yn benderfynol.
En: "Come on, Gareth," she said, her voice determined.

Cy: "Gwnawn waith y cwmwl cyn diwedd yr awr."
En: "Let's get the work done before the end of the hour."

Cy: Ond Gareth, yn fwy myfyriol, stopio am funud i edrych ar y topiau coed las a coch.
En: But Gareth, more reflective, stopped for a moment to look at the tops of the blue and red trees.

Cy: "Rydyn ni'n yma iddo.
En: "We are here for him.

Cy: Gadewch i ni ddal ein hanadl," dywedodd yn dawel, yn dal eiliad o dawelwch i gofio.
En: Let's catch our breath," he said quietly, holding a moment of silence to remember.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gerdded fyny’r llwybr serth, mae Rhiannon yn poeni am y tasgau o’u blaen.
En: As they walked up the steep path, Rhiannon worried about the tasks ahead.

Cy: Roedd pob cam yn rhyw fath o orchwyl;
En: Every step felt like some kind of chore;

Cy: ond i Gareth, pob mûn cam yn llawn storïau cudd am eu tad.
En: but for Gareth, every small step was filled with hidden stories about their father.

Cy: Roedd pob tro yn y llwybr fel agor capsiwl amser o atgofion.
En: Every turn on the path was like opening a time capsule of memories.

Cy: "A nghfi di gofio pan wnaeth dad fflipio'r barbeciw hwn flwyddyn hon?" gofynnodd Gareth, gyda golau twyllodrus yn ei lygaid.
En: "Do you remember when dad flipped the barbecue this year?" Gareth asked, with a mischievous light in his eyes.

Cy: Stopiodd Rhiannon.
En: Rhiannon stopped.

Cy: Roedd y cof yn dawnsio'n araf yn ei meddwl, gwên fach ar ei gwefus.
En: The memory danced slowly in her mind, a small smile on her lips.

Cy: "Ydw," meddai wedi ildio, "ac roedd y sgwâr hwnnw mor ddu â'r nos."
En: "Yes," she admitted, "and that steak was as black as night."

Cy: Gyrhaeddasant brig y mynydd lle rhedai'r gwynt yn gyfradd ac yr oedd y byd yn ymddangos yn ddiderfyn o'u blaen.
En: They reached the top of the mountain where the wind swept briskly and the world appeared endless before them.

Cy: Roedd Rhiannon yn edrych i lawr ar yr ogofeydd, a’r olygfa hardd o’r ddaear islaw, yn sydyn teimlai'r pwysau yn plygu o fewn iddi.
En: Rhiannon looked down at the caves, the beautiful view of the land below, and suddenly felt the weight shift within her.

Cy: Rhoddodd Gareth law ar ei hysgwydd.
En: Gareth placed a hand on her shoulder.

Cy: "Diogelwch ei ewyllys yw diogelu ein hatgofion," meddyliodd, ei lygaid yn fflachio â deall wrth gyffwrdd llond llaw o lwch.
En: "Keeping his will is keeping our memories safe," he thought, his eyes flashing with understanding as he touched a handful of ash.

Cy: Ar y mynydd, methodd y dŵr yn ddisymud, a thaflodd y llosgfynyddoedd ei lwch.
En: On the mountain, the water stilled, and the volcanoes cast their ash.

Cy: Gyda golwg gwrtais, golyon eu tad yn llithro a cheisio ymateb i'r gwynt gan neidio ac yn dawnsio rhwng y blancedi brown.
En: With a respectful gaze, their father's ashes slipped and sought to respond to the wind, leaping and dancing among the brown blankets.

Cy: Wnaeth Rhiannon edrych ar Gareth gyda stryffaglu, ond hefyd cynefin.
En: Rhiannon looked at Gareth with a struggle, but also familiarity.

Cy: Roedd hyn yn ddiwrnod newydd iddi, nid dim ond i goffáu eu tad, ond i amlygu'r fath deimlad o agosatrwydd efo'i brawd.
En: This was a new day for her, not only to commemorate their father but to highlight such a feeling of closeness with her brother.

Cy: Wedi’r golygfeydd olaf ohoni’n dawelu yn y gwyntddydd.
En: With the last sights of her father settling in the breeze.

Cy: "Diolch, Gareth," meddai hi yn feddal.
En: "Thank you, Gareth," she said softly.

Cy: Roedd ei chalon yn golchi llynedd o bechod â dyletswyddau rhaglenni.
En: Her heart washed away years of guilt with the duties of the day.

Cy: Cerddasant ddan post yn geiriau; Rhiannon yn cael ffordd newydd i fyw gyda'i theimladau, a Gareth wedi derbyn ei frawdgarwch eto.
En: They walked past the words in stone; Rhiannon finding a new way to live with her feelings, and Gareth having accepted his brotherhood once more.

Cy: Roedd y lliwiau a’i gilydd, a’r atgofion melysa’r amhobol.
En: The colors mingled, and the memories sweetened the bitterness.

Cy: Roedd o gysur iddynt, yn dawel ag yn ddwfn, mai byth ni fyddant ar eu pennau eu hunain.
En: It was comforting to them, quietly and deeply, that they would never be alone.

Cy: Gyda'u bysedd yn anffurfiedig, traethwyd y garreg a'r gwynt cerbydol, roedd gwynt a gweithred Gareth yn wasgaru o'u afael, yn y dŵr tawel.
En: With their fingers intertwined, the stone and the carriage wind echoed, Gareth's wind and action dispersed from their grasp into the calm water.

Cy: Roedd fel derbyniad, fel cofrodd, addewid o dro newydd ym mhob cam.
En: It was like an acceptance, like a tribute, a promise of a new turn with every step.
