- A workshop presentation of a new opera called “Black Rock, USA” is set for Sunday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center. With a libretto by tripp j crouse and music by Spencer Edgers, the presentation will feature a 25-person orchestra, 16-person chorus, 5-person cast, and a 4-person saloon “house band.”
- Juneau Adult Hockey Association’s new winter season is set to begin registration on November 2. The group offers leagues and tiers for all ages and experience levels.
