The murder of Missy Bevers is one of the most haunting unsolved cases in Texas — not just because it happened inside a church before dawn, but because the suspect was caught on camera… and still has never been identified.
On April 18, 2016, Missy arrived at Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian to prepare for her early morning workout class. Later, students arrived to find police tape, broken glass, and a crime scene that made no sense. Surveillance footage shows an unknown person in tactical gear labeled “POLICE” wandering the halls with tools — moving slowly, breaking glass, opening doors — and then, Missy is killed.
In this episode, we walk through Missy’s life and the relationships around her, the timeline leading up to that morning, the evidence and forensics that have been made public, and the biggest theories — including what fits, what doesn’t, and why this case continues to spark so many questions.
