Jesus was the king of speaking in metaphors. Today, we explore what soil and light have to do with being his followers - being hearers and doers of the Word of God. Jesus' invitation to live in the light challenges us to consider the many ways we hide from ourselves, others, and God and to get curious about the things that cloud our understanding of who God is.
