In this episode of "A Little Faith," Levi interviews Rachel Hocking about the Blue Worship Book launch in April 2024. Rachel recounts the history of the Worship Book series, starting before 2008, and the detailed process of compiling songs from Christadelphian contributors worldwide. She highlights the diversity of styles and the collaborative effort involved. The focus then shifts to the recent launch event in Australia, featuring memorable performances by choirs, orchestras, and individual composers. This event previewed the book's contents and fostered a sense of community through music. Levi also explores Rachel’s background in music, including her studies in ethnomusicology and her career as a pianist and lecturer. The episode concludes with a discussion on bridging the gap between musical tradition and contemporary expression within the Christadelphian community. This dedication to preserving heritage while embracing innovation ensures the Blue Worship Book appeals broadly across the community and provides space for musicians to contribute.”
