Life is a shipwreck, but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats even in the midst of a shipwreck, we “must never forget to sing in the lifeboats.” Voltaire
Whatever happens to you has been waiting to happen since the beginning of time. The twining strands of fate wove both of them together: your own existence and the things that happen to you
Sometimes being true to ones self is not as easy as we would like it to be. Today, I want to remind you that your competitive advantage is that you are you. That you are original and that you were created for a reason.
One of the best gifts we can give to someone is to extend grace to them. This means choosing to be kind and compassionate. Especially in those moments when we do not want to.
There is an opportunity cost for everything. So let’s ensure that the price we are paying for our decisions and choices are in line with the things that matter most to our wellbeing.
“The commitment of giving your best at all times, in all city and under all conditions, can enable you to find value in, and lend values to, every experience” John Templeton
“Remember that you are always exactly where you need to be, experiencing what you need to experience so that you can learn what you must learn in order to become the person you need to be to create everything you want for your life. Always”. Hal Elrod
Asking for help is not weak, it actually makes you stronger. Once you experience it from both sides you can actually change your whole perception of it and see it as a positive way to save yourself some unnecessary stress and build a strong relationship with someone else.
