To bear fruit we first need to be clear that if we have been saved by the Lord, we have also been charged by the Lord.

In our hymnal there is a precious hymn that says,

“Must I go, and empty-handed?”

Must I meet my Savior so?

Not one soul with which to greet Him:

Must I empty-handed go?

Our need to rise up to practice the New Testament priesthood of the gospel to gain people for God’s kingdom.

The preaching of the gospel being the first thing to practice in the God-ordained way.

We all need to see these four principles of our spiritual service to God. Our service must be: in the Body, in our spirit and by the Holy Spirit, by life, and for the building up of the Body of Christ.

As those who have been captivated by the Lord and to pursue Him and seek Him in love, we need to love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruptibility (Eph. 6:4). Only Christ, God, and the church are incorruptible matters, and so we need to love our Lord Jesus in incorruptibility.
