A guy lets his mind wander when you spend all day ahorseback. A long day chasing bawling calves around and the constant drone of bad news in my ear had me pondering what a civil war would look like nowadays. With the advances in weaponry, it could definitely be deadlier, but with the advances in medicine, maybe not. What about the advances in technology and the ability to learn from history? (It's my daydream, I'll dream it how I want!) I don't think the boundaries will be as clear cut as they were in 1861, and I explain why.
