Avoidance isn’t laziness it is protection.

In this episode, I explore avoidance not as laziness but as protection. The subtle ways we distance ourselves from hard conversations, from uncomfortable emotions, from risks that might expose us.

I share how I’ve mistaken withdrawal for strength, intellectualizing for clarity, perfectionism for standards. How I’ve avoided anger. Avoided love. Avoided being seen before I felt ready.

Avoidance works. That’s the problem. It gives relief. It buys time. It keeps us intact.

.This conversation isn’t about shame. It’s about awareness. About naming the pattern.

About choosing discomfort in small, intentional doses.
