The Holy Spirit will draw sinners to the Word of God.  The Pharisees were always around when Jesus was speaking and they were the greatest of sinners.  They too were drawn unto Him because they were also called to repentance and to be baptized.

Their religious pride segregated them from those who needed God the most.  What Shepard Pastor has the desire or ability to leave their flock and go after one… looking only for one lost sheep until it is found?  Every broadcast we are looking for you.  We want to find you. We will continue until we find you.

Most will write you off as lost cause. Some may leave it up to someone else to rescue you.

They were watching closely to find fault to trap, criticize and to make judgement against Him.  Jesus was asking to see if they were going to continue to require no healings be performed the Sabbath.  He recently rebuked them after healing a woman who was bent over for 18 years from a spirit of infirmity on the Sabbath in the synagogues. Jesus declared the sick being healed by God on the Sabbath in the synagogue would glorify God so how asinine was this rule.

The Pharisees were silent because so many people were happy after Jesus had revealed healing on the Sabbath in the Synagogue would glorify God.  They were afraid they would be the point of anger of the people after Jesus set them free from the spirit of the Sabbath.  Silently in their hearts they wanted Jesus to perform this healing on the Sabbath in order to trap Him so that they would have a reason to destroy Him.

Again, with the Spirit of the Lord and the Wisdom of God, Jesus makes the point of the foolishness of the rules and heavy burdens the establishment placed on people.  He points out that these political hypocrites would do good deeds on the Sabbath if it involved them and the things they owed.

They could not argue with Jesus because they themselves could not keep the rules of the Sabbath based on their own rules.

Often vineyard dressers planted other plants in the vineyard to help with the pollination of the grape flowers so the vine will produce grapes.  The cross pollination helped the flowers receiving the seed of the pollen to produce its fruit.  If the fig tree is not producing the flower buds there can be no fertilization of the flower that will bring the fruit of the vine or tree.  The vine will be fruitless because there are no buds that will bloom into a flower that will be pollinated to produce fruit.

Typically the fig or fig tree represents the leadership of the body or the “church”. Jesus’ ministry was approximately three years and He sought out to find the quality fruit from what He planted.  God wants to cut down all the unfruitful bodies that does not help the vines to produce it’s fruit.

It is the desire of Jesus to give man one last chance to produce good figs.  He wants to fertilize it and nourish it to health so that it can be saved.  Some of you are not producing fruit acceptable to the Father and He is looking to cut you down and cast you into the fire.  He wants to replace you with a tree that will produce fruit.  Take this word and hear it.  Repent and change so that your fruit is pleasant to the Master of the Vineyard.  He will destroy a diseased tree by fire.  Be fed by the word today and repent and be strong by the vine dresser Jesus.

If you begin to bear the fruit by the provisions of the vine dresser Jesus, you will be saved.  The master needs that space in the vineyard to help cross pollenate the grape blooms so that the vines are fruitful.  God’s wrath will be upon those people who are called to produce the fruit of the fig and are not producing the figs.

Jesus is expecting us to continue at our post of assignment.  The army had a general order, “I will guard my post until I am properly relieved.”  Jesus, the Lord of the Servants, commands us to be waiting for him to return to the House of the Ruler.  We are to be waiting for His return FROM the wedding not FOR the wedding at the door so we can let Him in immediately.  He will come at the mid-night hour most likely between the Second or Third Watch when most people are sleeping and have become tired of waiting.  He will reward those who stay at their post waiting and anticipating He arrival.  He promises to sit his stewards at the table of honor where the Ruler has His guests and He will feed us meat.  Jesus will serve us after we show our faithfulness toward Him upon His arrival. 

Those who are foolish and disobey the will or the Lord of the Servants will be punished and judged harshly.  Let’s be prepared.  Let’s prepare ourselves to be equipped and willing to stand and be vigilant for His return.

The people were waiting for Jesus and the crowd had grown to thousands of people to the point they were trampling on one another.  The first thing Jesus says to his disciple is to be cautious of the sins of the Pharisees because they are hypocrites.  I believe Jesus will also destroy that which puts on a form of Godliness and is corrupt on the inside such as the many who are in the Christian and evangelical faith but yet continue to abuses the office of Prophet, Priest, King in the body of Christ.

Jesus will destroy churches and denominations that:

Adopt abominations as socially acceptable and integrate it into the faithTake on religious laws and practicesFail in fulfilling the message of repentance and the kingdom of GodTake on strange firePerverse leaders who defile their representation of ChristCreate and adopt false doctrines

When Jesus exposes and reveals the corruption of that which is supposed to represent His body, the false body will come against the real body of Christ and will desire to kill and destroy it just as the Pharisees, scribes, and lawyers did with Jesus.

Jesus has every intention of destroying everything that is a false representation of the Word of God, the body of Christ, and Himself.
